A grand jury has decided to not charge Officer Darren Wilson for the August 9 shooting death of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown. The announcement was made by St. Louis County prosecutor Robert McCulloch, who laid blame on social media, journalists, and conflicting witness statements, and not, as The Guardian notes, "a white-dominated power structure." Michael's parents released a heartbreaking statement after the decision, calling for peaceful protests. Wilson's injuries from the day of the shooting were finally released and they seem... slight.  President Obama addressed the nation shortly after, imploring both sides to seek a peaceful resolution to tensions between law enforcement and communities of colour. The pictures, however, speak for themselves
