We're happy to announce that Kelly Boutsalis has won a silver medal for Personal Journalism at the National Magazine awards for her piece "Six Miles from the Mouth of the River," and Rollie Pemberton has won Silver at this year's Digital Publishing Awards for his column Mind in Bloom!
Hazlitt was nominated for four awards by the National Magazine Association this year. In addition to Kelly and Rollie's wins, Michaela Cavanagh was nominated for a Digital Publishing Award for Best Science and Technology Storytelling for her piece "The Hideaway," and Gloria Alamrew was nominated for a Digital Publishing Award for Best Personal Essay for her piece "What Does A Mother Sound Like?".
