This past Friday, Hazlitt took home one gold award and two silver awards at the NMAF's ceremonies celebrating digital and print publishing.
At the Digital Publishing Awards, Hazlitt swept the Personal Essay category. Lana Hall won silver for her piece on unnoticed labour, and Niko Stratis won gold for her piece on growing up trans in the Yukon.
At the National Magazine Awards, Alison Motluk won silver in Investigative Reporting for her piece on surrogacy laws in Canada.
