Samuel Ashworth's fiction, essays, and criticism have been published in Barrelhouse, Catapult, Nylon, and the Times Literary Supplement, and he writes the (somewhat) monthly "Dispatches from the Swamp" column for The Rumpus. He has an MFA from George Mason University, and is working on a novel about the life and death of an American chef, told in the form of an autopsy.
