Claire Battershill’s debut collection of stories, Circus, will be published by McClelland & Stewart in April. For stories included in this collection, Battershill has won the 2008 CBC Literary Award for Short Fiction, shared the 2013 Canadian Authors Association's Emerging Writer Award, and was shortlisted for the 2013 PEN International/New Voices Award.
