Kai Cheng Thom is a writer, performer, and community worker based in tkaronto. She is the author of four award-winning books, including the essay collection I HOPE WE CHOOSE LOVE: A Trans Girl's Notes From the End of the World and the children's book From the Stars in the Sky to the Fish in the Sea.
